This is a cute spot to stop, have a drink and bite to eat, and watch the spider monkeys on Monkey Island! The drinks were a bit overpriced and underpoured, but still very tasty. There are two floors with fans and shade, and bathrooms available!

You have to stop by here if you are in the area! We loved seeing the monkeys but we also got to see manatees & dolphins! Food & service was good too! We will be back when we go back to FL!

Very good food, tasty drinks, and a water view complete with a monkey island with real monkeys. I just wish they carried Monkey Shoulder Scotch, or offered Banana Daiquiris!

Absolutely wonderful experience today for brunch! Almost everything is homemade, prices are reasonable, food is delicious and no less than three different staff checked on us while we were eating. Service was exceptional and our server was super friendly! My husband had some grits and shared a bite or two with me...best we've ever had!! We also tried grit cakes...yummy. My mother-in-law had the gator bites and said they were the best she ever had. We had plenty to eat and even brought leftovers home!

First time visiting and it was well beyond expectations. Food and drinks were awesome. Staff was friendly. It was a blast watching the monkeys. Can't wait until we go back.

First time coming here. Great location and service. You go up to the bar to order. They get your drinks and you sit down and they bring you your food. They have a dock right in front so you can pull in and go eat. There is a cute little island about 50 feet away that's home to a few little monkeys. Had the chorizo mac and cheese, was a much smaller portion than the BBQ chicken salad. Both tasted amazing.

A quick little stop. The servers were very friendly. The view was great. The atmosphere was very laid back. All seating is seat yourself and order at the bar. The menu was small, but all fresh homemade food. Great view of monkey island and plenty of shaded seating. Excited to go back and try more menu items!

I stopped by the Monkey Bar Restaurant yesterday and was pleasantly surprised by all the positive changes. The restaurant is under new management and it definitely shows. The menu has been updated, the atmosphere feels refreshed, and the overall experience was fantastic. The food was excellent, the service was friendly, and the weather couldn't have been better while enjoying the waterfront views. One of my favorite additions is the new coffee bar, which is a great place to relax before heading out on the river or just enjoying the resort. I was also excited to see the new lunch and dinner cruises now being offered. It's a great way to experience Homosassa from the water while enjoying everything this beautiful area has to offer. If you're looking for good food, cold drinks, beautiful views, and a fun Old Florida atmosphere, the Monkey Bar is definitely worth a visit. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Amazing food at a fair price too, they were highly recommended by a local. Right next to monkey island, enjoy your food and watch the monkeys play.
